Credit Union ONE Awards Continuing Education Scholarships

Ferndale, Michigan – Two Scholarship Recipients were chosen in the first year of this Scholarship Program. $2,500 was awarded to Amarachi Wachuku of Bloomfield Hills, and Stacy Simmons of Detroit.

In expanding Credit Union ONE’S Scholarship programs, some of the qualifications for this program included:

Be a Member of Credit Union ONE of Michigan, Be a high school or GED graduate with a gap in education of two years or more, Plan to enroll in the fall of 2017 in undergraduate classes at an accredited two or four-year college or university, or accredited trade or vocational school. 

“We are happy to help in the continuing education of these two 2017 recipients” said Paul Stuart, Credit Union ONE Chairman of the Board.
