Leominster Credit Union is Helping to Combat Hunger

A Leominster Credit Union team of volunteers pitched in recently to pack up nutritious meals through the North Central Massachusetts Combat Hunger initiative. It was the fourth event held at the Town and Country Apartments in Leominster, Mass., where, in less than four hours, approximately 90 volunteers packaged 22,224 meals. The meals were distributed to more than 20 local food pantries as well as Kylee McCumber's "Kylee's Kare Kits for Kids" and Kira Andreucci's "Karing 4 Kidz."
