Nearly 200 walkers, volunteers and staff participated in RTN Federal Credit Union's 7th Annual Walk Home for the Homeless. The 5K walk events took place simultaneously in three Massachusetts locations - on the Danvers Rail Trail, in Dorchester Park and on the Waltham Common.

Walk Home funds are collected through the RTN GoodWorks Foundation and donated to the Massachusetts Coalition for the Homeless to help homeless teens and families in Danvers, Dorchester and Waltham. Each walk began with an opening program featuring remarks from local officials and senior executives from the credit union and coalition.

RTN has raised more than $140,000 since the inception of Walk Home in 2011. With these funds, 367 youth children have received new beds of their own through A Bed for Every Child and 15,568 articles of clothing have been distributed to homeless youth through the Teen Closet.
