EAST LANSING, Mich. — MSU Federal Credit Union (MSUFCU) is proud to announce that its Chief Financial Officer, Sara Dolan, was named Professional of the Year by the Michigan Credit Union League (MCUL). Dolan will be formally recognized at the Honor Awards Breakfast during MCUL and CU Solutions Group’s Annual Convention and Exposition in Grand Rapids, Michigan, from June 7 to 10, 2017. The Professional of the Year Award recognizes an individual who has been exceptionally supportive of the Michigan credit union movement over the past year. The recipient helps build an environment that supports collaboration and enhances teamwork in the organization. Dolan was selected for this award for her dedication to MSUFCU and exemplary work on various boards and committees, including the MCUL State and Federal Issues Working Group and the Volunteers of America Homeless No More Host Committee. “I am honored to receive the MCUL Professional of the Year Award and proud to be a part of MSUFCU’s mission of helping members and employees achieve financial success, their goals, and ultimately, their dreams,” said Dolan. “This award is particularly meaningful to me as it is presented by the MCUL, whose mission of strengthening the credit union community while enriching the lives of its members is so closely aligned with that of MSUFCU.” “Sara’s commitment to the Credit Union, its members, and employees is evident through her hard work and exemplary dedication and leadership,” said April Clobes, MSUFCU’s President/CEO. “She brings forward initiatives that are aligned with the strategic goals of the Credit Union and possesses a deep knowledge of the varied financial aspects of a multi-billion-dollar institution. In addition to her impressive financial acumen, Sara is a selfless leader dedicated to the development of others and very deserving of this recognition.”
