Arrowhead Credit Union Collects 10,000 Snacks for USO

SAN BERNARDINO, Calif. – Team members from Arrowhead Credit Union collected more than 10,000 snacks and beverages to donate to the Bob Hope USO Ontario for service men and women. Arrowhead volunteers also prepared 245 bags of snacks and treats for the visiting troops to take on their journey to their next assignment.
On June 6, the team delivered the donations and greeted troops with words of appreciation and bags as the troops made their way through Bob Hope USO Ontario.
Volunteers also helped organize and restock the shelves with boxes of snack items and filled the pantry with sodas, water and other beverages.
“I’m thankful for the opportunity to volunteer and give back to this organization,” said Stephanie Mireles Arrowhead team member. “Seeing everything the Bob Hope USO Ontario does for our military is inspiring.”
The Bob Hope USO Ontario offers a welcoming place to come between journeys, providing meals, a place to rest, as well as media and family rooms, all free to military members and families.
