MSUFCU Employee Makes a Difference in The Community

EAST LANSING, Mich. — MSUFCU is proud to announce that its Chief Community Development Officer, Whitney AndersonHarrell, was selected as a recipient of the Greater Lansing ATHENA Young Professional Leadership Award, presented by the Lansing/East Lansing Chapter of The Links, Incorporated. The ATHENA Young Professional Leadership Award recognizes an emerging woman leader who demonstrates excellence, creativity, and initiative in her business or profession; provides valuable service to improve the quality of life for others in her community; and clearly serves as a role model for young women both personally and professionally.

Anderson-Harrell will be honored at the 7th Annual White Rose Gala on Friday, April 14, 2017, at the University Club of MSU. She commented, “It’s humbling to be recognized for this award and all it represents. I am honored to help support the development of those within our community through mentoring and involvement initiatives and hope that I am able to positively impact others’ lives and contribute to making our community a better place to live and work.”
