credit union donates $15K to local boys & girls club

Workers Credit Union of Leominster, Mass.�has donated $15,000, over 3 years, to the Boys & Girls Club of Fitchburg and Leominster. The Boys & Girls Clubs Lindell Avenue facility, formerly a school, recently received a major renovation, adding a science club for girls, space to design and build robotics, computer labs and indoor and outdoor gardens. "It is a remarkable facility, with even more impressive programming that is sure to transform young peoples lives," said Doug Petersen, president and CEO of Workers Credit Union. "We are grateful for Workers donation, which will help us achieve our goal of serving more children in a warm and engaging facility," said Donata Martin, executive director of the Boys & Girls Club of Fitchburg and Leominster.
