‘Taking a swing’ at supporting youth sports in the community, America First Credit Union sponsored the Las Vegas 51s Little League Takeover, alongside the Las Vegas 51s baseball team, Saturday, April 29. Players from the Las Vegas team traveled to Arroyo Grande Sports Complex to surprise Green Valley Little League teams. Pitcher David Roseboom, catcher Jeff Glenn and outfielder Jayce Boyd interacted with the Little League players, gifted tickets to the Las Vegas 51s baseball game held later that day and one Little League player had the opportunity to throw the first pitch.

America First Credit Union and the Las Vegas 51s partnered together in 2014 and continue to give back to the city. The partnership includes sponsored events, promotional items and each game, the individual who throws the first pitch receives an America First Credit Union branded jersey.

In its 78 years of service, America First has become one of the largest, most stable and most progressive credit unions in the country, and has remained a member-owned, not-for-profit cooperative financial institution. Today, America First has 123 locations, and is the 11th largest credit union in assets in the United States with over $8.4 billion, and the sixth largest credit union in membership in America with more than 831,000 members.
