Hometown Credit Union Hosts CPR Class

Hometown Credit Union in Ashley, ND hosted a CPR certification class on May 15, 2017 for the Ashley community. The class was located at the Ashley ambulance garage, in which two paramedics instructed and ten community members attended. The instructors showed a hands-on video, shared valuable information, and supplied the class with masks and CPR mannequins. Additionally, the attendees were shown how to perform CPR and use AEDs on adults, children, and infants, along with administering the Heimlich maneuver. At the end of the class, the attendees took a test to become CPR certified, which is valid for two years. The class was open to the community, both non-members and members of the credit union were welcomed.
