Glendora, CA, — In partnership with Project Glendora Yellow Ribbon and American Legion Riders – Chapter 835, America’s Christian Credit Union (ACCU) is gearing up for its 4th annual Patriot Week commemoration, May 23rd through 25th at its corporate headquarters in Glendora. Patriot Week is a tradition that began with the vision of inspiring the community to commend and support America’s everyday and extraordinary heroes, including U.S. military, veterans, and first-responders, the week leading up to Memorial Day.

This year, the celebration will kick-off with an official Opening Ceremony at 8 a.m. on Tuesday, May 23rd, during which various heroes will be celebrated for their commendable service to the community and country. On Wednesday, May 24th, our local heroes will be surprised with delivered homemade treats and baked goods. The Patriot Week celebration wraps up on Thursday, May 25th with the Family Day & Awards Ceremony, during which Lt. Col. Vic Bezjian will be recognized for his outstanding legacy of service to the United States Air Force. ACCU welcomes and invites veterans, first responders, and other community heroes to come out to be recognized for their dedicated service and sacrifice for our country.

Patriot Week will also serve as an opportunity to raise much-needed funds for various charities that support our heroes. “As a community, we look forward to this memorable week during which we can express a magnified exclamation of thanks and honor to those who have sacrificed so much for our freedom,” commented ACCU’s President/CEO, Mendell L. Thompson.
