United FCU Donates $2,800 to The Children's Cabinet

RENO – United Federal Credit Union (UFCU) was pleased to make a $2,800 donation to The Children’s Cabinet in Reno. The Children’s Cabinet serves approximately 11,000 families each year by providing programs and services including food and shelter, crisis intervention, tutoring, job training, parenting classes and free family counseling.
“As a non-profit agency, The Children’s Cabinet relies on community support in order to offer programs and services at no charge to children and their families,” said Christie Asis, manager of UFCU’s branch on Double R Boulevard in Reno. “We place tremendous value on the work they do.”
The Children’s Cabinet’s was established in 1985. The organization provides more than 30 programs to children and families in the community.
