On Wednesday, May 3rd, the Hometown Credit Union staff, along with the Kulm Lions Club, cleaned the ditches north and south of the town of Kulm, ND.  The Kulm Lions Club has been responsible for the ditches north of town for many years, and the credit union adopted the highway south of Kulm last year as part of the James Valley Chapter.  Harold Hagen, CEO of Hometown Credit Union is a member of the Lions Club, and helped organize the evening to complete the community project together.  When the work was finished, the Lions Club group and Hometown Credit Union staff enjoyed a meal together at the credit union.  Betty Gunderson, Senior VP of Finance at Hometown CU stated, “It was a windy night, and the wood ticks were out, but we got it done!”
