A dedicated partner committed to youth literacy, America First Credit Union kicked off National Credit Union Youth Financial Literacy Month, partaking in various literacy events and happenings throughout Southern Nevada. Partnering with elementary schools and youth literacy philanthropic organizations, America First held financial literacy booths alongside Spread The Word Nevada, a children’s literary non-profit dedicated to advancing early childhood literacy. In addition, the credit union held a booth at Lowman Elementary School and Tom Williams Elementary School, where credit union volunteers read to students and provided information on financial literacy. America First also hosted a literacy night with Red Rock Elementary School during Nevada Reading Week.
