Great Lakes Credit Union Donates $3,000 to the Pioneer Center

Bannockburn (IL) – In support of Great Lakes Credit Union’s initiative to support its communities, on April 20, 2017, GLCU’s Board Member, Rich Durante, presented $3,000 to the Pioneer Center for Human Services in McHenry.

GLCU is proud to support the communities in which its members live. For the second year in a row, GLCU’s Board of Directors adopted an extraordinary plan to give back to its communities; Branch Managers of each GLCU location work closely with Board Members to find local charities to support on behalf of GLCU. 

Pioneer Center for Human Services is a not-for-profit charitable organization based in McHenry, Illinois. They provide direct services to thousands of individuals each year though programs based around intellectual and developmental disabilities, community based services, and homelessness. The Pioneer Center for Human Services utilizes its programs to engage people of all abilities through innovative and compassionate services.
