Catholic Vantage Financial Holding Free Shred Day for Community
April 24, 2017
Plymouth, Mich. (April 24, 2017) Catholic Vantage Financial (CVF) will host a free document shredding day for the community on Saturday, April 29, 2017. The public is invited to bring personal papers and documents for shredding from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the credit union’s Plymouth branch located at 8817 Sheldon Road, at the northwest corner of Sheldon and Joy Roads.
“This is one of the ways we help people safeguard their identity and personal information,” said Emma Teller, CVF’s vice president of marketing and business development. “It also helps to reduce landfill and protect the environment.”
Community Vantage Financial has also partnered with Two Men and A Truck in an annual Movers for Moms campaign to collect donated items for women at homeless and domestic abuse shelters in metro Detroit. Collection boxes will be available in the credit union’s Livonia and Plymouth branches until May 11 and at the free shredding day event on April 29.
Items needed include personal hygiene products, linens, towels, underwear, along with diapers and wipes for infants and toddlers.
Now serving all Catholics within the Archdiocese of Detroit, Catholic Vantage Financial is considered Michigan’s leading and most well respected Catholic Federal Credit Union. In addition to the credit union’s offices, ATMs and extensive online services, members have access to more than 5,000 shared branches and nearly 30,000 ATMs nationwide. Member deposits are insured to $250,000 by the National Credit Union Administration (NCUA), a U.S. government agency.
