Bastrop, TX – Jill McNabb, Greater Texas Credit Union Regional Branch Manager, demonstrated the credit unions’ dedication to supporting local schools by participating in the Bastrop ISD Career Day and Employer Panel on April 10, 2017 at Bastrop High School.

Greater Texas has been serving the Bastrop community since 2003, when it first opened its temporary office. In 2006, the credit union helped create and organize the local B.E.S.T. College Night, which brings the 3 school districts of Bastrop, Elgin and Smithville together with over 100 college and career school recruiters. In addition, yearly budgeting presentations and real-life scenarios are taught to the local seniors to help prepare them for life after high school. Greater Texas also serves many school districts across the state of Texas and values how important it can be to empower young minds through financial education.

Greater Texas Credit Union has 19 locations across the state of Texas, and is known as Aggieland Credit Union in the College Station area.
