Northern Hills FCU Supports Financial Literacy in Local After School Program

Sturgis, SD - On Wednesday, April 12th, employees from Northern Hills FCU donated a 5 box set of financial literacy DVD’s called “Biz Kid$” to the Sturgis Area After School Program.
Each DVD is a youth engaging, interactive teaching video ranging from “What is Money?” to Businesses “going green.” Each set contains 13 teaching episodes plus a CD containing PDF’s of the curriculum for each episode.
A starter kit was included, which contained pencils and stickers – which made the kids really happy!
These DVD’s can be used for the current after school group and groups for years to come. Another way Northern Hills is educating youth to “Find Their Financial Freedom.”
