Great Lakes Credit Union Donates to Three Local Charities

Bannockburn (IL) – Great Lakes Credit Union (GLCU) is proud to support the communities in which its members live. For the second year in a row, GLCU’s Board of Directors adopted an extraordinary plan to give back to its communities.

The Branch Managers of each GLCU location are working closely with their Board Members to find local charities to support on behalf of GLCU.

On March 17, 2017, Don Curfman, GLCU Advisory Board Member, presented $3,000 to three unique organizations that have become staples within their community: the Crystal Lake Food Pantry, Horizons for the Blind, and the Senior Care Volunteer Network. GLCU is always happy to lend a helping hand to organizations doing extraordinary work throughout their communities, especially charities such as these, which play an integral part in their community.

Throughout 2017, GLCU will continue to donate to organizations that are making a positive impact around their community.
