The Credit Unions United Chapter invites you to make a difference in the future of nearly 200 students by donating to the 2017 Real World Camp to be held May 3, 2017 at the Grand Hotel in Minot.  The Real World Camp, a free one day event for 7th & 8th graders focuses on topics such as Wants vs. Needs, budgeting, credit, jobs, insurance and more!  The kids will also put their skills to work as they visit representatives of local businesses and organizations in the Real World City, with a new life, family, and job!  The Real World Camp which has provided hands-on financial literacy training to over 700 ND students over the past 5 years wouldn’t be possible without the considerable donations of area companies such as yours.

Financial literacy is an important but often overlooked topic that gives students a head start to a strong financial future.  We would greatly appreciate any support you would like to give, including monetary, in kind donation, or volunteer time on the day of the event.  In addition, we have a number of sponsorship opportunities for specific portions of the event.  Sponsorship brings with it special recognition on the day of the event, including signage, and the opportunity to provide materials to attendees.  Sponsors will also be recognized on the printed marketing materials outside of the event.

If you are willing to provide a sponsorship, donation, or volunteers, please email gemkim@srt.com.  If you have any questions regarding this event, or our organization as a whole, please feel free to contact Kim Colbenson, GEM Federal Credit Union, 701-852-3866.
