Vermont Federal Credit Union Staff Provides Free Dinner for Milton Community

Milton, VT – Vermont Federal Credit Union staff assists in providing a free dinner for Milton community members

On Thursday, March 23rd, staff members from Vermont Federal Credit Union’s Milton Branch volunteered at the Milton Community Dinner, collecting dinnerware, sorting compostables and recycling, and cleaning up after the event. The dinner was the second in a series of dinners provided by the Milton Recreation Department in conjunction with the Milton Family Center and Milton School district. The dinners are intended to encourage healthy eating and community involvement.

Kevin Parish, Milton Branch Manager and volunteer, shared, “The students and staff did a wonderful job of preparing a healthy meal which served over 400 Milton community members.” He continued, “We were proud to help serve and assist our community throughout the dinner, and we are excited to be involved in future dinners.”
