Plymouth, Mich. (March 20, 2017) With the busy home buying season underway, Catholic Vantage Financial is hosting a free home buyers workshop on Tuesday, April 11, 2017. Open to the public, the workshop will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. at the credit union’s Plymouth branch located at 8817 Sheldon Road, at the northwest corner of Sheldon and Joy Roads.

James Clemens, a highly experienced loan officer with the Mortgage Center, will talk about navigating the mortgage process, different home financing options, what costs are real and what fees you need to watch out for, along with differences between a home appraisal and inspection.

With the houses selling quickly in today’s market, Clemens will also offer tips and strategies about how to be the top bidder without overpaying.

“This is an excellent workshop for first time home buyers,” said Emma Teller, vice president of marketing and business development for Catholic Vantage Financial. “It’s also very helpful for people interested in learning about the latest credit and financing requirements.”

According to Teller, attendees will have the opportunity to ask questions and receive helpful handouts.

To ensure adequate seating for the Home Buyers Workshop on April 11, advance reservations are requested. To sign up, visit www.mycvf.org/workshop or call 734-432-0212 for more information.
