Town & Country Credit Union is proud to announce that three employees have successfully passed the required exams and earned the designation of Certified Credit Union Financial Counselor (CCUFC). The newly designated CCUFC’s include: Ashley Sundsbak, Member Services Associate in Minot, Deanna Lovelace, Member Services Associate in Minot and Elizabeth (Liz) Schulz, Financial Services Officer III and Branch Manager in West Fargo.

This designation and associated coursework allow Ashley, Deanna and Liz the ability to confidently guide members through financial situations, ultimately helping them reach their financial goals. “Our mission with each of our credit union members is to build trusted financial relationships through personalized service. Trained financial counselors, that can provide members with financial expertise, is key to fulfilling that mission,” commented Darrell Olson, President and CEO.

There are currently additional Town & Country Credit Union employees completing the CCUFC coursework with plans to have even more staff complete the certification in 2017. “Having employees who are Certified Credit Union Financial Counselors reaffirms our commitment to helping members gain control of their financial future.” Olson added.

The Certified Credit Union Financial Counselor designation is provided by the Credit Union National Association (CUNA) Financial Counseling Certification Program (FiCEP). Town & Country Credit Union is a member-owned, full service financial institution with 10 locations across North Dakota in Kenmare, Fargo, Minot, Stanley, Ryder and West Fargo. Membership is open to anyone living within 75 miles of Minot or 50 miles of Kenmare or Fargo.
