Credit Unions of Rhode Island Bowl for Special Olympics
March 13, 2017
The Credit Unions of Rhode Island are preparing for the upcoming Strike for Gold Bowling Tournament to benefit Special Olympics Rhode Island (SORI). The action gets underway Wednesday, March 29 at the East Providence Lanes in East Providence, RI. Registration starts at 3:30 pm and the competition begins at 4 pm.
A $100 entrance fee per team includes bowling, shoes and refreshments. Each team member is encouraged to raise a minimum of $25 in pledges. The two top teams and the individual that raise the most in pledges will receive a special prize.
There will be raffle drawings during the event and two sets of two Red Sox tickets and many other donated items. More than 25 credit union teams will have the opportunity to win the Strike for Gold Bowling Tournament Trophy. Last year's tournament sparked some amazing competition among the teams so be sure not to miss this fun night of camaraderie!
Your credit union's generous support of Special Olympics Rhode Island helps ensure that Special Olympics athletes have the opportunity to be brave in their attempt to win.
