Great Lakes Credit Union Employees Select 2017 Charities

Bannockburn (IL) – Great Lakes Credit Union’s (GLCU) employees voted for their 2017 Charities of Choice. They chose CASA Lake County and the Midwest Shelter for Homeless Veterans. Both charities will receive GLCU’s support in 2017.
Each year, GLCU employees support two local charities. In 2016, GLCU’s employees selected A Safe Place and TLC Animal Shelter. As a result, both charities received a $5,000 donation. Click here to learn more.
At the end of the year, GLCU’s 2017 Charities of Choice will receive donations raised through fundraising initiatives for both members and staff throughout the year.
CASA Lake County promotes and protects the best interest of children who have been abused or neglected by training volunteers to advocate for them in courts, in schools and in the community to help find safe, permanent and loving homes. Visit their site at www.casalakecounty.com.
The Midwest Shelter for Homeless Veterans aims to ensure that no veteran is left behind due to homelessness, joblessness, poverty, and/or mental-health issues. Their desire is to ease suffering for veterans and their families and to empower veterans to become productive members of their communities.
