Affinity Federal Credit Union Foundation Collects More Than 600 Lbs of Food for Local Food Banks

Affinity Federal Credit Union, New Jersey's largest credit union, is a member-owned, not-for-profit, full-service financial institution.
Basking Ridge, N.J. (March 03, 2017) – At the close of their branch-wide food drive, the Affinity Federal Credit Union Foundation has collected over 664 pounds of food to benefit local food banks.
“Benefitting the local communities that our members live and work in is central to Affinity’s values,” said Lauretta Farrell, executive director of the Affinity Federal Credit Union Foundation. “Thank you to all of the generous staff, members and community members who donated.”
The contributions collected have been donated to seven local food banks including:
- Center for Food Action in Englewood, NJ
- Flemington Area Food Pantry in Flemington, NJ
- Hands of Hope in Edison, NJ
- Lunch Break in Red Bank, NJ
- Interfaith Food Pantry in Cedar Knolls, NJ
- Food Bank Network of Somerset County in Somerset, NJ
- Community FoodBank of New Jersey in Hillside, NJ
