M-O Federal Credit Union in Huron, SD celebrated Mardi Gras by serving free popcorn to members and potential members this week!  Mardi Gras, or "Fat Tuesday," is the day before Ash Wednesday, the first day of Lent.

At the credit union, the lobby was decorated in purples, greens and golds, complete with Mardi Gras masks, beads, and other festive decor.  A few ladies even showed up in their own costumes - ready to pose for the camera with their fresh bags of popcorn!

M-O FCU utilizes the extra lobby traffic from these popcorn events as an opportunity to promote their products and services.  This latest event resulted in a new account, a few scholarship submissions, loan inquiries, several surveys being turned in, and some great interactions with members!  M-O FCU was chartered in 1950 and serves federal and postal employees and their family members.
