Catholic Vantage Financial Awards $10,000 to Scholarship Fund

Plymouth, Mich. (February 27, 2017) Catholic Vantage Financial (CVF) has announced approval by the National Credit Union Administration (NCUA), the credit union’s governing agency, to offer its services to more than 1.3 million Catholics in the Archdiocese of Detroit, which includes the six counties of Wayne, Oakland, Lapeer, St. Clair, Macomb and Monroe.

Along with providing a wide range of on-site and electronic banking services, CVF offers financial literacy workshops, student credit unions, tuition payment programs, tuition loans, and scholarships to help cover tuition for Catholic schools and colleges.

CVF is also engaged in community outreach through sponsorship of fundraising activities, donation drives to help the needy, financial counseling and workshops to help people improve their credit, protect against identity theft, prepare budgets, receive valuable home buying tips and more. 

In addition to CVF’s annual scholarship program for students in kindergarten through high school, the credit union recently donated $10,000 to a fund that awards scholarships to children of employees of the Archdiocese of Detroit.
