CITY & COUNTY CREDIT UNION EMBRACES THE COLD AT SNOW PARK AT THE FAIR

St. Paul, Minn. – City & County Credit Union embraced Minnesota’s cold winter by sponsoring Snow Park at the Fair. Hosted by the Saint Paul Vulcans, Snow Park at the Fair was a free, family event that featured a giant snow slide, snow sculptures and a snow maze.

Snow Park at the Fair was held at the Minnesota State Fair Grounds and ran from January 27 through February 5. During the 10 day event, team members from City & County Credit Union volunteered at the fair by managing the giant snow slide, collecting tickets, setting up sleds and handing out CCCU winter gear.

Along with volunteering, a team from City & County Credit Union took the plunge during the Snow Park Polar Plunge on Sunday, January 29 to help raise funds for Special Olympics Minnesota. Nine City & County Credit Union employees sported pink tutus and jumped into freezing water, raising over $1,000 for Special Olympics.

“We take pride in going beyond monetary donations and being fully engaged with our communities by volunteering and participating,” Megan Primeau, vice president of marketing, explained.  “Braving the elements of the Polar Plunge to volunteering for the Snow Park at the Fair is just one of many ways that City & County actively gives back to our members and community.”
