FORUM Credit Union is pleased to share it returned more than $1.5 million back to members in 2016. As a financial cooperative, FORUM is committed to giving back to its members in a variety of ways, including savings and prize based rewards.

As part of FORUM’s savings and prize based rewards, FORUM awarded a grand prize of $5,000 to a member with a Weekly 5 Club Account. This account, which gives members the chances to win prizes for making regular deposits into their savings, is just one of many savings accounts FORUM offers to help members save for their goals.

“My favorite part about banking with FORUM is having so many savings options,” said Raymond B., winner of the Weekly 5 Club grand prize. I’m retired but my wife is still working, so I do our budgeting and planning.  At my age, it’s important for us to save because I want to make sure my wife is always financially taken care of.  That’s why I took advantage of the Weekly 5. FORUM definitely helps with our future planning.”

FORUM also awarded a grand prize to participants of the 52 Week Money Challenge. This incremental savings plan helps members save $1,378 over the course of 52 weeks. Those who successfully save $1,378 and make a deposit 50 out of the 52 weeks are entered to win an additional $1,378.

In addition to savings and prize-based rewards, FORUM returned profits back to members through checking account and credit card rewards as well as educator grants and scholarships through the FORUM Foundation.
