Indiana Members Credit Union Donates $6,000 to The PourHouse

(Indianapolis, IN) Indiana Members Credit Union (IMCU), Central Indiana’s largest credit union, is excited to announce that The PourHouse, Inc. is the fourth quarter winner of the Homeless/Basic Needs Related Category for the IMCU Gives Back Campaign and is receiving a $6,000 donation. Each quarter in 2016, IMCU awarded a $6,000 donation to a nonprofit organization that serves Health (quarter one), Education (quarter two), Veterans (quarter three) and Homeless/Basic Needs (quarter four). IMCU highlighted the quarterly category on its website where the public voted for their favorite nominated organization. The organization that received the most votes was awarded the $6,000. IMCU created the campaign to celebrate its 60th birthday in 2016.
20 Homeless/Basic Needs Related organizations were nominated, and The PourHouse, Inc. received the most public votes to win the $6,000 donation.
IMCU presented the check to The PourHouse, Inc. on January 23rd at the Indiana Pacers game. “We are thrilled and grateful to be the recipient of IMCU’s generosity in the Give Back contest! This donation will make a significant impact on our organization’s ability to serve individuals experiencing homelessness in Indianapolis. We appreciate IMCU’s investment in the community and in the lives of the people that we serve,” said Andrea DeMink, Executive Director, The PourHouse, Inc.”
