Point West Credit Union is Helping to Promote Financial Education for Mexican Community

PORTLAND, OR -- Point West Credit Union and the Consulate of Mexico in Portland are proud to announce a new partnership to promote financial education to the Mexican community in the Portland metro area. The partnership was formalized at a signing ceremony at the Consulate of Mexico on Wednesday, January 25th.
Point West will offer workshops and assistance in Spanish on a variety of relevant financial issues, including credit, budgeting, savings and more, working with the Consulate and its team to provide comprehensive support and solutions for its clients and their families.
"We are excited to add a credit union to the financial inclusion programs we offer to our nationals", said Francisco Maass-Peña, Consul of Mexico in Portland, "Having this type of financial institution as partner will provide a wider variety of information about banking services that will help the community to better integrate to the economy of this country".
