LOWELL, MA – Jeanne D’Arc Credit Union is excited to announce its seventh annual We Share A Common Thread Foundation Fundraiser, which will be held on Saturday, February 25, 2017.

Jeanne D’Arc’s We Share a Common Thread Foundation was established in 2011 to help the Credit Union provide monetary support to numerous charities and organizations throughout the community.

Each year, Jeanne D’Arc Credit Union employees, business partners, members and supporters gather together for a night filled with dancing, games, basket raffles, silent auction, door prizes and much more. Funds raised during this fun-filled event are distributed to dozens of worthy non-profit organizations within the Merrimack Valley and surrounding communities.

Last year’s Fundraiser raised over $43,000, and the Credit Union disbursed those funds to 57 local organizations. This year, the Credit Union has set the goal to raise $50,000 to help them extend their support even further.

Jeanne D’Arc invites the community at large to join them and help to reach their goal. Community members and businesses can donate to the event in the following ways: provide a gift card to any retail store, restaurant, merchant; make an in-kind donation of services; submit a donation online at www.WSACT.com or mail a check made payable to We Share A Common Thread Foundation.  Everyone is encouraged to join the Credit Union, its supporters and many non-profit organizations at the event on Saturday, February 25, 2017 at Lenzi’s, located at 810 Merrimack Avenue in Dracut, from 7:00pm to 11:00pm.

Tickets are $10.00 if purchased in advance or $15.00 at the door. Those interested in purchasing tickets should contact Michele Desmarais at Michele.Desmarais@JDCU.com or at 978-323-4786.
