Credit union raises funds for Multiple Sclerosis

Royal Credit Union (RCU)�of Eau Claire, WI recently held a bake-sale/jeans day fundraiser to support the Multiple Sclerosis (MS) Walk 2013 in the Chippewa Valley, raising $1,186.65 for the cause.
March 11-17th is Multiple Sclerosis Awareness Week. Multiple Sclerosis (MS) is diagnosed most often when a person is in the prime of their life. It is a disease of the central nervous system and most often is very disabling. The disease interrupts the flow of information in the brain and between the brain and the body. Symptoms range from numbness and tingling to blindness and paralysis. Basically, MS can stop people from moving. The National MS Society exists to make sure it doesnt stop people from moving. It is one of the largest private funders of MS research in the world!
