HEATH / NEWARK, OH – January 9, 2017 —James Johnson, President and CEO of Hopewell Federal Credit Union (HFCU), presented Babette Wofter, Licking County Library (LCL) Director, a check for $300.00.   The donation will be going toward a new, unique project for the LCL.  Toys, especially adapted for children with special needs, will be purchased.  These specialized toys will be available for check out via a toy-lending library.  Hopewell was pleased to support this new initiative, which will premier in 2017.

Each Friday, Hopewell Federal Credit Union staff members are invited to donate a dollar in exchange for the opportunity to dress in casual attire.  The funds collected throughout the year are then used to support a worthwhile organization.  The HFCU team voted on the community location to support and determined that their collective donations should support the Licking County Library.
