SAN ANTONIO, DECEMBER 22, 2016 –– Security Service Federal Credit Union is a proud supporter of Youth Code Jam, an innovative network of summer camps, one-day sessions, and school-based clubs that connect children and their parents to computer coding and tomorrow’s technology-based jobs.
As part of Security Service’s ongoing sponsorship of Youth Code Jam, the credit union recently donated $2,500 to the nationally recognized nonprofit to be put toward the purchase of Arduino kits, a key early tool for kids who are learning to code.
“Youth Code Jam is an inspiring and vital new force in San Antonio,” said Brandy Ralston-Lint, senior vice president of corporate communications for Security Service. “The knowledge and skills they are equipping our youth with will help them in their education and future careers.”
