RCU (Royal Credit Union) of Eau Claire, WI recently�presented a $300 check� to Mrs. Hellman's 3rd grade class at Tiffany Creek Elementary in Boyceville, WI. She is going to purchase Playaway Sets which are audio books with ear buds designed to improve literacy and comprehension. The grant was made possible through the RCU/WQOW Tools for Schools partnership! Here is her full nomination: Angela Hellmann Tiffany Creek Elementary (Boyceville) Due to limited funds in a small rural school district, support from generous businesses is greatly appreciated. As a third grade teacher, it is my goal to instill a deep passion for reading in all of my students. My wish is to purchase five Playaway sets, audio books with ear buds approximately $60 each, that are simple for eight and nine year olds to operate and provide immediate access to the best literature. With this motivational reading device, kids will improve literacy and comprehension when pairing audio with the printed edition.
