Electro Savings Funds Community Development Across Missouri

St. Louis, MO (June 4, 2014) �� Electro Savings Credit Union presented a check for $71,264 to the Missouri Credit Union Association to fund the Community Development Across Missouri project. Electro Savings is a partner in Community Development Across Missouri (CDAM), a statewide community development network dedicated to broader community revitalization throughout Missouri. Through its participation in CDAM, Electro Savings is collaborating with other Community Development Financial Institutions across the state to maximize their efforts to increase consumer awareness of the benefits of credit unions to individuals, businesses and communities. ��When we collaborate to promote the benefits of credit unions, we all benefit��, explains Stan Moeckli, President/CEO of Electro Savings. Electro Savings earned its Community Development Financial Institution (CDFI) designation from the U.S. Treasury in 2013. Later that year the credit union was awarded its first CDFI grant, which included funding the Community Development Across Missouri project.
