Greater Nevada Credit Union of Carson City, NV�is accepting applications for its annual academic scholarship program, which has awarded $163,000 in scholarships since 2000. This year, Greater Nevada will award 15 scholarships for $1,000 each.
The Greater Nevada academic scholarship program is sponsored and administered by the credit union and is available to Greater Nevada members and their families. Anyone living or working in northern Nevada is eligible to join Greater Nevada.
Scholarship applications are available at northern Nevada high schools and colleges, any Greater Nevada branch, or at
gncu.org. �Each scholarship is based on the applicants financial needs, academic performance, community involvement, educational and career goals. �The funds are sent directly to the winners post high school educational institution of choice.
