On February 2, 2013, TEG Controller Frank Federico joined his teammates for a dip in Berean Park's icy lake on a 30-degree day. As part of the event called the Subzero Heroes Ice Jump, they helped to raise about $50,000 for the fight against Alzheimer's disease.

And they are planning on doing this polar plunge event again on February 1. For the fourth year in a row, our TEG heroes are returning to Highland, NY to dive into the icy water to raise money to fight Alzheimers disease. This year we have over a dozen TEG jumpers. Funds raised from this local jump go to support the about 40,000 or so people in the Hudson Valley Region are stricken with Alzheimer's disease. TEG is proud to connect with the local community to create awareness about what the Alzheimer's Association can offer those in need.
