Service First FCU Rummage Sale Raises $3,784 for Children's Miracle Network

On September 29th,�Service First Federal Credit Union�held a rummage sale in the parking lot of its Main Branch on East 10th�Street in Sioux Falls, SD.

Over a period of two weeks prior to the event, members of the credit union and the community donated items to be sold at the rummage.�As a result, thousands of items were donated and a grand total of $3784.55 was raised at the sale.�Every last penny was donated to Childrens Miracle Network.�

According to Travis Kasten, President of Service First FCU, the money raised from the sale has put the credit union over the $25,000 goal that the credit union pledged to raise eighteen months ago.�

"We were amazed at the overwhelming support from our members and the community," said Service First VP of Operations, Mark Sundvold, "this was our first year using a rummage sale as a fundraiser, and the result far exceeded our expectations!"
