Highmark FCU event to help improve the life of women and children

Highmark Federal Credit Union recently donated $250 to sponsor the upcoming Zonta Expo, October 4, from 4-9 pm at the Rushmore Plaza Civic Center. �Sponsors for this annual fundraiser help the Zonta Club of the Black Hills stage a womens focused event showcasing local businesses,�a style show, cafe, silent auction and motivational speaker.�

The organization sells exhibit space, and entrance and raffle tickets that raises money used to improve the lives of women and children, both locally and abroad.�Over the last 25 years they have granted over $300,000 to help improve the status of women and children within the community and to Zonta International.

Terri Larson, VP of Lending at Highmark FCU, invites all women from the community to come out and support this annual Zonta Expo event. �You can buy entrance and raffle tickets the day of the event or purchase them from any Zonta member. �Larson is a volunteer Board member for the Zonta Club of the Black Hills
