Britton, SD - Norstar FCU recently received the “Friend of 4-H” award at the Marshall County 4-H annual banquet.  The award is for support, cooperation with, and interest in the 4-H Club members in Marshall County.  The recipient is picked by the 4-H Junior Leaders and based on volunteer time and financial support. Norstar was also recognized for offering the Pee Wee Penguin account for minors! The announcement from the 4-H organization reads as follows: Each year someone in the community is recognized for their service to 4-H through volunteering of their time, talents, and resources.  This year we recognize an entity in our community that assists many of us with the financial aspect of 4-H by working with our clubs and associations as we establish and maintain checking and savings accounts.  Their willingness to sponsor events such as Pee Wee Showmanship, share the talents of their employees as judges for Achievement Days, and always show support for 4-H, we would like to recognize our 2016 Friend of 4-H, Norstar Federal Credit Union.
