north-star-halloween-exchange1Maddock, ND - Recycling and reusing is a great way that North Star Community Credit Union makes a difference in their community! This Halloween season, the credit union is holding their first "Spook-N-Save" event at their Maddock and Grafton branches. Just as the credit union collected and distributed backpacks for school children this summer, they have been accepting gently used Halloween costumes over the last year, and are hosting an exchange on October 20th, on International Credit Union Day. The event is open to the community on a "first come first serve" basis, and people do NOT need to donate a costume in order to take part. "Why not recycle and reuse these costumes within our own communities and save money at the same time?" asks Nanci Wilson, Member Service Manager for North Star Community CU. Why not, indeed!
