Everett Credit Union donated backpacks filled with school supplies to students at the Parlin School in Everett, Mass. The backpacks were full of first-day school essentials, including notebooks, pencils, glue sticks, and colored pencils. Donations were made by Everett CU employees in an effort to give back to the community.
"ECU's school supply drive is an example of the generosity shown by our employees each year by helping families in need send their kids back to school with the much-needed supplies for a successful year," says Barbara Frazier, Everett CU CEO. "We have a vested interest in seeing our children succeed and become the leaders of our community in the future."
