Educational Systems Federal Credit Union Donated 7,900 Backpacks for Students

captureGREENBELT, MD (October 3, 2016) Educational Systems Federal Credit Union donated�7,900 backpacks filled with school supplies to students at 50 middle schools and eight student service centers in eight�school systems in Maryland. Educational Systems FCU has donated backpacks to middle school students for the past three years. This year, the Credit Union invited its employees to participate by donating $5 per week to dress casually on Fridays to help raise funds to buy more backpacks. Employees of the Credit Union donated over $3,700, which meant that the Credit Union was able to give an additional 400 backpacks. "We are so excited about our continuing partnership with Educational Systems Federal Credit Union," said Wendell Coleman, Oxon Hill Middle School Principal. "The Credit Union is a wonderful partner!"
