City & County Credit Union Hosting Community Impact Day

capturePAUL, Minn. (October 3, 2016) On Monday, October 10, City & County Credit Union will host its second annual Impact Day and participate in a statewide event to spread kindness in the community. During City & County Credit Unions Impact Day, 48 employees and volunteers will spend the day living out the People Helping People philosophy by giving back to a host of charitable organizations. In the morning, City & County will host a packing event for The Neighborhood House a multi-cultural, multi-lingual center with a mission is to help people, families and organizations develop the skills, knowledge and confidence to thrive in diverse communities. Volunteers will assemble Kitchen Kits filled with house essentials, measure out portions of dried beans and rice and create t-shirt bags to be used in The Neighborhood Houses food pantry. In the afternoon, City & County employees will serve at Bridging, The Sheridan Story and the Maplewood Salvation Army Adult Day Center. In addition, City & County will be delivering thank you cards and treats to local Saint Paul police officers at three area precincts.
