Andrews Federal Credit Union Sponsors Walk to End Alzheimer's

captureSUITLAND, MD (September 29, 2016) Andrews Federal Credit Union is a proud sponsor of the 2016 Walk to End Alzheimers.� Additionally, Andrews Federal staff members and their families formed teams to participate in walks in Maryland and the District of Columbia. The Alzheimers Eliminators team, comprised of branch and headquarters staff, completed the first walk in La Plata, MD. Held annually in more than 600 communities nationwide, the Alzheimers Association Walk to End Alzheimers� is the worlds largest event to raise awareness and funds for Alzheimers care, support and research. Every dollar raised benefits those affected by Alzheimers disease. "We welcomed the opportunity to support this worthy cause," said Sasha Harding, Waldorf Branch Manager. "It means even more when we can actively participate to raise money for prevention and treatment." The Andrews Federal "DC Nationals" team will be participating in the next walk in Washington, DC on October 8th. Tameyka Whitney, Sasha Harding, Regina Hartsock, Kim Revell and Michelle Castillo participated in the 2016 Walk to End Alzheimers in La Plata, MD.
