St. Anne's Credit Union Employees Walk 26 Miles and Raise $4,000 for The Jimmy Fund

2016092595063627FALL RIVER, MASSACHUSETTS, September 27, 2016 - �On Sunday, September 25th, several employees from St. Annes Credit Unions New Bedford branch took part in the 2016 Boston Marathon Jimmy Fund Walk.� In the months leading up the Walk participants were asked to raise funds for the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and then on the day of the event attendees walked the Boston Marathon route in honor of all those who battle cancer.� Since the Boston Marathon Jimmy Fund Walk began in 1989 the event has contributed more than $100 million to the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, all of which goes towards supporting Dana-Farbers mission to conquer all forms of cancer in children and adults.� The SACU employees teamed up to form the�'Sole Sisters' and chose to walk the entire 26.2 mile route, raising�$4,000 for Dana-Farber, and donations are still coming in.�St. Annes Credit Union is very proud of their hard work, dedication and generosity.
