Lowell, MA, September 22, 2016 Align Credit Union proudly supported Habitat for Humanity MetroWest/Greater Worcesters Operation Playhouse Build-a-Thon on September 10
th. The event was held at the Framingham Centre Common from 8:30am to 4pm. Volunteers built customized playhouses for the children of local veterans and active military personnel.� The finished playhouses formed a small village on the Common and Aligns Community Crew was charged with building the firehouse. At the end of the event, the playhouses were given to the children for whom they were built. Proceeds from the event will support Habitats local home builds and the Critical Home repair program.

Their community spirit, coupled with the hands-on effort of their terrific volunteer team, created a beautiful space for a child to dream and play," said Bonnie Biocchi, Habitat for Humanity MetroWest/Greater Worcester Director of Development. "Align understands and supports the need for decent, affordable shelter. Their sponsorship dollars are helping build a home for a local family.
