Del Norte Credit Union Holding Toasty Coat Drive for Children in Need

SANTA FE, New Mexico, September 20, 2016Del Norte Credit Union (DNCU), Northern �New Mexicos hometown financial cooperative, supports many worthy causes in New �Mexico and takes its self-directed value statement "improving lives" to heart. �From �September 26 to October 31 DNCUs Second Annual Toasty Coats for Tots and Teens, a �coat drive to benefit SFPS Adelante, a critical program that provides services for children �who are experiencing homelessness in Santa Fe, will take place in the three Santa Fe �DNCU branches: 3286 Cerrillos Rd., 403 West Cordova Rd., and 510 North Guadalupe. � � "The response from our members and staff last year was heartwarming, and we �anticipate a healthy reaction again on behalf of this worthy cause. A warm winter coat is �a necessity and every child, especially those living with difficult circumstances, deserves �one." says DNCU CEO/President Chuck Valenti. DNCU is asking staff, members, and �guests to please donate new or gently used winter coats during this time to help. �Requested coat sizes: �childrens 5-18 and teens S-L. � �According to SFPS Adelante, more than 1,700 children and teens find themselves �involved in a homeless situation in Santa Fe County. �"Children and youth from SFPS �Adelante Program are so appreciative when they know that someone in their �community cares enough to donate a nice coat for the winter weather.
